Protect our Health, Water & Biodiversity from Pesticides

We would like to let you know about a forthcoming Conference on the topic of Pesticides “Protect our Health, Water and Biodiversity from Pesticides” taking place at Europe House, Dublin on Tuesday 6th October 2026 from 10am -1pm followed by lunch.

 

The Environmental Forum, Pesticide Action Network Europe, Sustainable Water Network (SWAN) and Environmental Pillar are organising this event in cooperation with Pesticide Action Network (PAN) Europe, the Sustainable Water Network and the Environmental Pillar. 

 

As part of the programme, Klaus Berend, Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety, DG SANTE will provide an update on the current developments in EU pesticide regulation, focusing particularly on the Food and Feed Omnibus package and its implications for pesticide policy and implementation. Anne Marie Dillon from the Pesticide Controls Unit of the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Martin Dermine, Executive Director of PAN Europe will also input to the opening session. The event will include input from a health, water and biodiversity perspective from academics from TCD, DCU and UCD followed by a panel discussion.
