Queries about who is responsible for what on the shore now are mounting and we in HQ are also struggling with the new marine planning system, since local authorities took over responsibilities for some planning functions out to 3nm (5km). Some are coming across high value features they want to report and see protected, some come across issues or pollution incidents which need to be addressed.
